4.designof Welded Connections

4.焊合相接的蓄意

4.1 Scope

4.1畛域

This clause covers requirements for design of welded connections. It is divided into three parts as follows.本章包括焊合相接蓄意的要求。它分为以下3部分:

Part A-Common Requirements for Design of Welded Connections (Nontubular and Tubular Members)

4.2 General

This part contains requirements applicable to the design of all welded connections of nontubular and tubular structures, independent of loading.

4.3 Contract Plans and Specifications

4.3协议图纸和技能条目

4.3.1 Plan and Drawing Information. Complete information regarding base metal specification designation (see 5.3 and 6.8.3)location, type, size, and extent of all welds shall be clearly shown on the contract plans and specifications, hereimnalter referred to as thecontract documents. lf the Engineer requires specific welds to be performed in the field, they shall be designated in the contracidocuments. The fabrication and erection drawings .hereinafter referred to as the shop drawings, shall clearly distinguish between shop and field welds.

4.3.1蓄意图和施工图贵寓,对于母材的规格、招牌(见5.3和6.8.3)和统统焊缝的部位、类型、尺寸和畛域的一皆贵寓,应明晰地标注在协议蓄意图和技能条目上(下称协议文献)。要是工程师要求特定的焊缝在工地施焊,这些焊缝必须表明在协议文献上。制作和安装图(下称施工图),必须明晰地区单干厂(车间)焊缝和工地焊。

4.3.2 Notch Toughness Requirements. lf notch toughnes of welded joints is required, the Engineer shall specify the minimum absorbed energywith the corresponding test temperaturefor the filler metal classification to be used, or the Engineer shall specify that the WPSs be qualified with CVN tests. If WpSs with CVN tests are required, the Eingineer shall specify the minimum absorbed energy the test temperature and whether the required CVN test performance is to be in the weld metal. or both in the weld metal and the HAZ(see 6.2.1.3 and Clause 6. Part D).

4.3.2缺口韧性要求,要是要求焊合臆度缺口韧性,工程师应按所用的填充金属品级轨则相应西席温度的最低给与能量,大致

工程师必须轨则评定的WPS带有CVN西席。要是要求WPS带有CVN西席,则工程师必须轨则最低给与能量,西席温度以及所要求的CVN西席究竟是在焊缝金属中,依然焊缝金属中庸HAZ中两者都要(见6.2.1.3和第6章,D部分)。

4.3.3 Specifie Welding Requirements. The Engineer, in the Contractdocuments, and the Contractor, in the shop drawings, shall indicate those joints or groups of joints in which the Enginer or Contractor require a specific assembly order, welding sequence welding technique or other special precautions, See 7.4.1 and C-7.4.1 for limitations on the application of ESW and EGW welding4.3.3特定的焊合要求,工程师在协议文献中,而承包商则在工场图纸中,应表明他们对哪些臆度或臆度组要求特定的装置法子焊正当令,焊合技能或其他特别的防卫事项。ESW和EGW焊合诈欺的为止见7.4.1和C-7.4.1。

4.3.4 Weld Size and Length, Contract design drawings shall specify the effective weld length and, for PIP groove welds, the required weld size “'(S),." For fillet welds and skewed 'T-joints, the following shall be provided on the contract documents.

(1) For fillet welds between parts with surfaces meeting at an angle between 80 and 100°, contract documents shall specifly the fille weld leg size.

(2) For welds between parts with the surfaces meeting at an angle les than 80° or greater than 100°, the coniract documents shall specify the ellectiwe throat.

(2)零件名义之间成一小于80°或一大于100°角度的角焊缝,协议文献应轨则灵验焊缝厚度。

End returns and hold-backs for fillet welds, if required by design, shall be indicated on the contract documents

要是蓄意要求角焊缝的端部绕焊和止焊,则应在协议文献上表明。

4.3.5 Shop Drawing Requirements, Shop drawings shall cleary indicate by welding symbols or sketches the details of groove welded joints and the preparation of base meta required to make them, Both width and thickness of steel backing shall be detailed.

4.3.5施工图要求,施工图诈欺焊合标记或草图明晰地表明坡口焊合臆度的细节和加工这些臆度而要求的母材制备。钢衬垫的宽度和厚度两者均必须珍摄轨则。

4.3.5.1 PJP Groove Welds, Shop drwings shall indicate the weld groove depths "D" needed to attain weld size "(S)" required for the welding process and position of wel ding to be used.

4.3.5.1 PJP坡口焊縫,对于所用的焊合递次和焊合位置,为了达到焊缝尺寸“D”,施工图应轨则焊缝坡口深度“S”

4.3.5.2 Fillet Welds and Welds in Skewed T-Joints.

4.3.5.2角焊缝和斜T形臆度焊缝

The following shall be prvided on the shop drawings:

施工图应轨则下述骨子:

(1) For fillet welds between parts with surfaces meeting at an angle between 80"and 100,shop drawings shall show the filet weld leg size.

(1)零件名义之间成80°~100°角度的角焊缝,施工图应表明角焊缝焊脚尺寸。

(2) For welds belween parts with surfaces meeting at an angle less than 80 or greater than 100°, the shop drawings shall show the detailed arrangement of welds and required leg size to account for effects of joint geometry and, where appropriate, the Z-loss reduction for the process to be used and the angle.

(2)零件名义之间成一小于80或大于100°角度的焊缝,施工图应表明焊缝的珍摄安排以及所要求的焊脚尺寸,以评释臆度几何形状的作用,何况,在那些相宜的局面,对所用焊合递次与角度来说,表明Z-折减的减小量。

(3) End retums and hold-backs.

4.3.5.3 welding Symbols. The contract documents shall show CJP or PJP groove weld requirements. Contract documents do not need to show groove type or groove dimensions. The welding symbol without dimensions and with “CJP” in the tail designates a CJP weld as follows
